BREASTS - what a genious title and concept for a contemporary art exhibition. It is either corny and a sure-fire seller or an earnest and high class attempt to deliver something less blunt than the title suggests. The latter - it turns out to be actually a decent, well curated group exhibition celebrating the iconography and symbolism of breasts, not doing much wrong. Sponsored by Intimissimi gives it a tad of commercial taint, but the collection is sound, from Cindy Sherman, Dali, Duchamp, Mapplethorpe, de Chiricco, to Richard Dupont, Irviing Penn and Louise Bourgeois. Specially the 15min film in the last room (a kind of hidden boudoir) by Laure Prouvost entitled „Four For See Beauti“ from 2022 is captivating and a very well edited, beautiful tale of bodies, skin, sea creatures, life, the ocean (our former home) and the film-makers child/baby.

Its not the 90s anymore, and Japan appears less „flashy“ but sturdy, and the food is simply gorgeous, as many know. So much more soothing and kindly old fashioned, I was surprised.
